About Us

History

clearTXT was formed in 2003 to provide text messaging services to schools, with the goal of bringing communication across campuses to a new level. Each member of the campus community has different needs regarding communication and the flow of information, and we developed clearTXT to meet these different needs.

For example, students want information about their grades as soon as they're available, regardless of where they are or the time of day. Instructors want to be certain students have the most current information about classes. And department heads want to provide information about classes, campus and local events, schedule changes, and registration in a timely manner (and if they can generate much-needed revenue while doing so, all the better).

We examined these needs and developed systems that helps each member reach their goals -- plus we added a few more benefits just for good measure. By integrating the clearTXT system into Blackboard, incorporating cellular technology, and creating an easy to use and understand interface, clearTXT greatly improves communication and information flow between all members of the campus community--and helps schools generate revenue! How many other companies can make those claims?

But clearTXT didn't stop with schools - we're now working with our government partners to help local, state, and federal government agencies improve communication with citizens. We're hard at work making clearTXT the leader in text messaging and mobile communication, but we'd love to hear from you. If you have ideas for improving clearTXT, questions about our products and services, or need assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.
